Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose this course according to my passion. And because I also want to choose a circuital department so I choose electrical engineering. faculties are good enough but some are too strict but all the faculties are well qualified and well experienced.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The course is a little affordable as beacuse it's first teir college so yes it's fees have to be high but according to goverment college is too high. Like there are fee concession also according to family income of each students.

Campus Life

The life at campus in good enough. Like you learn here a lot of things and there is also many activities. IIT Kharagpur has two fest Kshitij and spring fest both are great and both are in January. There is a competition inter IIT as well and many societies related to tech and cultural.

Admission

Only class 12th and 12+1 students can able to give the jee advance. You have to first give the jee main then those who selected have to give jee advance. Link of jee advance available on website and the fees of jee advance form is around 2900 and only 2.5 lakh students are selected for jee advanced and in them only 16000 seats are available in IIT. I have secured in 2190 rank in jee advance and pursue electrical engineering at IIT Kharagpur.

Good- Engineering College Review

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem.tcs,infosys,ctz. The highest package is 7 lakh. Avg is 4 lakh. 80 to 90 percent. Do a job in its company. This is my opinion in placement review. TPO cell is good. and give facilities to the student.

Campus Placements of students used to happen but because of the pandemic we are here giving offline placements and preparing from online classes. As far as I know, 50% of my classmates have got placed at different companies with a good package. One of the students got placed at Glassgow Scotland with a package of around 30LPA. The average percentage required to get placed in any company is like 60-70%. I am preparing for Govt job exams and also for different IT companies. All you need is hard work, self-study, and consistent effort so that you can fulfill the company's requirements.

Remarks:

The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

I chose IIT KGP above all the institutes due to its academic reputation and curriculum. i was getting confirmed admission in DTU CSE .
