Course Curriculum Overview

Because I like maths. we have one 1 FA (faculty advisor) Student 3:1 faculty are well qualified. Some are from iit and nit itself. Some are from mtech and phd. The teaching method is overall good. in 2 months midsem and after that 2 months another 2 months after sem exams. It is somewhat difficult to score good marks

1) Internxfortnite, Amazon , google etc they will offer various projects for students . They will also organize Meetings for students to learn the basic concepts abt u will learn in the projects. 2) projects will be mostly based on coding side.. And outcomes will be.. Like web development or app development

1) from 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. 2) amazon, google, sony, deloitte, cognizent etc They came up with 10 to 15 offers. 3) highest package was from cs 50 lpa and lowest was 6 lpa from biotech 4) 84.4% of student placed in 2023 5) I will give CAT exam to get an MBA seat from there I will start my journey

Fees for course= 75,000 For hostel 55,000 2) they also provide various type of scholarship to student who have less income according to their situation. They also provide internship to students from 1st year onwards

They also have digital library where the have laptops and u can use that. 3) behavior and culture of students. 4) All sports are there . . They also used to conduct sports day. They will provide biryani 2 times in week one in sunday and one in Wednesday and mandi in friday Both veg and nonveg meals are there. 3) they will provide link for admission and for hostel. 1) You should have paas 12 with more or equal to 75% in for jee mains. 2) You can find the application form from NTA. WEBSITE. Fees and applications both are there on that website only. 3) Reservation benefits are there like fees and Concessions. They can also get good colleges with low ranks. 4) yes, in choosing college prefer some college.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

I chose this college because of strong reputation , good placements and quality of education. I applied to other NITs and state engineering colleges and received some admissions,but selected this college because I preffered Electrical Engineering. Details Of NITC

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
