Likes

The active life in the campus is what I like the most
Most of the faculty is friendly and nice.
The academic blocks are very beautifully engineered.

Dislikes

There is still construction work going on.
Drinking water facility in the new hostels is below average.
There are some irrelevant courses in the curriculum such as Physics lab for non-Physics related branches.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Computer Science and Engineering course because we are living in the digital era. Most of the faculty members are friendly and nice. The difficulty of the exams is medium to hard, but can be passed through regular study.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is on the higher side in Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, if compared with other IITs but is lower than private colleges. There are many scholarship opportunities sent through the mail.

Campus Life

The annual fest of IIT Hyderabad is Elan nVision, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm and energy. The library is well equipped with the academic books. There are many sports available, such as football, cricket, badminton, etc. There are many clubs related to finance, development and engineering.

Admission

I gave JEE Main and JEE Advanced. I got B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Hyderabad. All course details, including forms and fees are available at cse.iith.ac.in, the official website of IIT Hyderabad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have many laboratories for practical knowledge. And also they providing other practical labs for us from other course related. They have installed a seperate computer lab or other elective labs for different branches. And also provide different assistants for every laboratories. They teach us well . Make us to make connections as per the circuit provided. They also teach us how they came into work in the real time life. Mainly they teach us how they are applicable to our real life. And also they preserve the projects and make juniors motivate and make them to learn.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internships from 3rd year, 2nd sem or from the end of 3rd year, 1st sem. Some of the notable companies that have visited the college were accenture, cognizant, tcs. I am planning to pursue masters after my degree completion over here. The highest package as per my knowledge is nearly 19 lakh. Most of the students are assured to get placed in bulk.

My view of Kmit

Placement Experience:

from 3 year 2 semester onwards the students can attend to placements without any active backlogs. The campies visited are drawin box,service now, real page,epam etc. the highest package is 44 lpa and average is 5 lpa. 45 per students have placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my father was private employee from electrical background so that i choose the Electrical and Electronics branch. So this branch was learned me technically a lot. The course was very difficult but need a guts to chase this.Here practical knowledge also very important from basics and need teaching very neatly to explain such hard topics like mechanism and electronics too.We wrote our exam into twice at 6months by dividing 1-1 and 1-2 etc.The exam time was 3 hours its a sufficient time to write a student with focus and knowledge on topics.
