Course Curriculum Overview

This course is based on current needs of the economic world. Teacher to student ratio is the best. Our professors are extremely qualified with degrees from Burdwan University,Calcutta University, Jadavpur University,And Delhi School Of Economics.We also have guest lecturers.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 48000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees are hiked by Rs 100 per year. Svmcm, Inspire, and many other private scholarships are available. The college also provides financial assistance to students from economically weaker sections.

Campus Life

The annual fest known as Conjecture is arranged in the month of April. The library has huge collection of books with each department having a small library of its own too. Regular sports activities are arranged like football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and cricket

Hostel Facilities

Rooms have been provided with a bed, almirah and a study chair and table. Each room has four students living. Hostels are within college campus. Meal is decent quality with in campus grown organic veggies.

Hostel Fee: INR 3200 per year

Admission

We had an admission test. After getting selected we had to have an interview. Application form is available in college website. Application fees is Rs 500 per subject. Reservation for EWS, SC, ST, OBC, PWD are always prioritised.

Interview Experience

3.5

Basic topics of logic and economics were asked. I revised the topics of my boards. I didn't take any extra preparation. The test was of 50 marks based on mathematics and communicative English with a mixture of short and long type questions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course for the first year is easy overall , maybe challenging for biology students because involvement of Maths in the curriculum but they can decrease their load by practicing Maths problems, asking doubts, approaching the instructors or their personal mentors. Otherwise the course is mixed in a good way with theoretical and practical part. Labs are conducted of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and CS in first year. You can choose CS as an minor in higher classes.

IIT Kharagpur - The dream college of JEE Aspirants | Detailed and Comprehensive Review

Placement Experience:

Campus Placement season starts here in IIT Kharagpur in the end of the pre-final semester or the fisrt semester of the final year. Companies start visiting the campus in the month of December every year for Phase 1, and in January for Phase 2. Top Product based companies like - Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Netflix, Uber, Zomato etc..come for placements and give high CTC like 40 LPA and even above for Software profiles. There are various profiles available in companies coming for placements - software, Data, machine Learning, Finance, Product, consulting, UI/UX designing and so on. Almost 80 % students get placed in our college every year and number of offers is as close as 1800 every year. Many students get pre-placement offers as well, after the completion of their internships and they are not eligible for placements. I am planning to sit for palcements this year and aiming for software, data analysis, consulting and UI/UX designing roles.

In the final year, a student is eligible for campus placements, 75% of the registered students are placed and the others have to go for off campus placements. also here if you are in a good branch, you will get good package otherwise, you will get w=very low package.

I was preparing for the medical exam in 2014-2016, i appeared in 2016 AIPMT exam 2016, but did not get better college and so i heard about IISER exam that we can we go for higher study from here. i was interested that i can go to the medical research after completing my degree from IISER. yes we can go to ICMR and research field in any department if you have qualified from IISER with your dedication. you can go foreign for higher study like Phd. There shoud be more laboratry so that it easy for individual practices. The exam taken in IISER is semester wise with fraction like mid sem and end sem. with the perfect schedule. The exam of IISER is good level in each deparments.

Statistics Honours at Ramakrishna Mission Residential College(Autonomous)

There a certain criteria to get admission to this college. 1)You must have a certain cut-off mark in your board exam(HS). If you have then you are eligible for the entrance test. 2) After clearing the test you will be qualified for admission here. Within a few months(2 or 3) after the board exam, the online form filled up for the admission test starts on the college's website. You just have to visit a few times on the college website after the board exam for admission details and exam dates.
