Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I love the subject of statistics from my heart. Since there aren't that many students in the statistics department hence the faculty: student ratio is very good. The teachers are all well established and more than qualified.

Class Size: 9Course Fees: INR 6550 per year

Internships Opportunities

I still haven't attended any internship but we were informed that an internship opportunity has arrived given by the government for us(statistics department) exclusively. We have to perform surveys if I remember correctly and after that they will give us training.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well affordable fees. Many types of scholarships are given in this college that the students can opt for. I still haven't got the chance to experience any kind of internship or campus placement since I am only a first year student

Campus Life

Campus Life is okay. I don't particularly care about things like that because I only come to college to attend important classes. The library is okay but they need to replace the old books with some new ones.

Admission

I got admitted on the basis of my 12th marks. My name was on the 3rd merit list. I didn't have to give any kind of entrance exams for this college since it comes under the reputable Calcutta University

Good academics with limited internship opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.
