Life at IIM Kashipur

Who doesn't want to study in top B-school. IIM Kashipur have finest faculties which uses practical ways to teach. Their lectures are never boring and they make studying interesting by their way of teaching. There is trimester system, in a year there are 3 semester, and every semesters duration is 3 months. End term exam happens after every 3 months. Most of the exam are case study based in which you have to use the concepts taught in class and critical thinking.

Placements of IIM Kashipur is 100% in summer internship as well as finals. 150+ companies come for final placements and for different domains. College also provide training sessions for PI and GD for each and every student.

Fees is around 1500000 lacs which includes tution fees, hostel fees etc and there is mess fee which you have to pay in every semester. College provides scholarship on the basis of need and merit, and it is a student run campus so there ia one committee which floats Live projects in which some are paid and some are unpaid.

Life at IIM Kashipur is so good. You are inside the campus and you enjoy each and every event that's happening in the college. IIM Kashipur have the best mess and hostel facilities. As it is student run campus, there are many student bodies which handles the working of the college for exampls academic committee, mess committee, sports committee, placement committee, Alumni relations committee, student council etc. IIM Kashipur's annual fest is Agnitraya, it usually happens in january .

There ia no extra fee for hostel it is included in the term fee itself. They provide you a good room, almirah, table chair stool and on each floor there are 6 rooms for that they provide a washing machine and a microwave. Hostel food is so amazing and its quality is also good. They cook food with proper hygiene.

For new IIMs, there is a common process, which is CAP. So if you are targetting IIMs then you have to appear for CAT and on the basis of percentile cutoffs for different categories you get shortlisted. after getting shortlisted for CAP, IIMs calls you for further process, I had PI after getting a call and then got selected after clearing the PI

I had PI for CAP and there is no other pprocess other than this. I joined coaching to prepare for CAT, that coaching helped me prepare for interview and also I had to prepare it by myself mostly. They asked questions about myself and my interest hobbies and why I want to do MBA etc.
