Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course for its focus on International Business aligning with my goal to enhance my business acumen. The Faculty-Student Ratio is decent facilitated by low batch strength which ensures easy accessibility to teachers who exhibit enthusiasm in aiding students. The Faculty boasts significant qualifications and substantial industry experience contributing to a robust learning environment.Teaching methids involve interactive class participation, case studies, video tutorials, competitions, presentations and group discussions. Term Exams are consistently conducted on schedule and student involvement in class is positively corelated with performance. The exams are of moderate difficulty appropriately assessed the course material.

Internships Opportunities

4

The placement cell of the department of Global Business Operations, Shri Ram College of Commerce provides the students of the GBO with various different live projects which are crucial for especially the freshers in the course to gain some industry and corporate experience. The projects are of various domains of management for example Marketing, Human Resources, Operations, Finance etc. are offered by the cell. The teachers of the SRCC GBO are also the industry experts and some are still working in the industry, so many times they also provide some live project to the students to get some hands-on experience.

The annual management conclave which is conducted is named as "Yugantar" and is conducted in month of Mach or April. Interview Experience

4.5

The Written Test was good covering all the topics across all the four sections. Difficulty level was moderate. The paper pattern was good as it does not involve any sectional cut off. One has to clear the overall cut off. Thus, providing an opportunity for me to maximise my score in my core strength. For the group discussions the approach to assign the topics was not certain. It was a mixture of both the current important events and abstract topics as well. For the Personal Interview , thorough questions were asked regarding the past academics, knowledge regarding current events and your standpoint and of course the behavioural questions like tell me about yourself or why do you want to join this course and questions on similar lines. In order to prepare for these rounds first you need to know about yourself in and out. This helps in answering behavioural questions. Then be thorough with your past academics expecially if you are a fresher. Lastly read the newspaper daily.

Placement Experience:

Till the time of writing, I am in 3rd month of my 5 month last semester and in my class about 60% of my batch is placed. You have to submit a student body fee of 40000 a year to be eligible for taking placements as this help out in having events organized outside the college. As there is no placement cell provided by DU, our student body is mostly run by students. Currently highest package offered was about 27 lpa and roles that have come are management trainee, Junior Data scientist, risk analyst etc.
