Course Curriculum Overview

I selected political science because in my district I found this college which gives more knowledge about political science. The faculty of teachers in political science are much better then other colleges..I decide this subject because I want to join civil services in future

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Basically the cost of study is not too high..1 year fees is just only 7 thousand and for Poor students fee doesn't required.. College also provide many scholarship to students like Ishan Uday,. Minority scholarship etc

Campus Life

The college provides many social and physical activities to the students. College has NSS unit which work for the welfare of the society every year NSS unit conduct social welfare field,blood donation camp and also college contains NCC unit

Anandaram Dhekial Pukan College Nagaon is one of the best college of Assam..The Professor of this college are very highly qualified. The college has an central Library which contains more than 35 thousand of books...The admission process of this college is good the fees is only 7 thousand and free admission for Poor students..The college had 22 department

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institution provides a vast syllabus prescribed according to the courses . I did hons in english so in my field I had to study a vast syllabus ranging from ancient greek and roman literature to modern dramas The English course consists of poems, dramas, novels, novellas and many other. The course or syllabus is varies with different stage of semester or year In the first semester we had study the follows Greek literature and epic Roman literature Early indian literature In the second semester Roman literature Indian literature In the third semester Popular literature British literature American literature ....... The proficiency of students is checked in the exams where in the first sessional the level of questions remain easy Moderate to difficult in the second sessional and increases the level of difficulty with the progression of semesters If I will talk about the pros of the course It gives an insight of to the vastness of the world of literature which helps the students in different fields. It gives an opportunity to study different stories written by different writers from different countries and helps in to learn the culture, language, society, polity and the history of a particular period of literature movement. It also helps the students to think critically and creatively to utilise it in the real life scenarios. There are also some cons of this course It's vastness can sometimes make students burnt out completely due to the vastness of the course and the limited time frame where you have to cover everything from poems, novels with 300 pages to seminars , internships

"I had also applied to Nowgong College for the same course. However, I chose ADP College because the BCA department here has a better reputation for practicals and lab facilities. Also, the location of ADP College was more convenient for my daily commute compared to others. The admission process was completely merit-based; there was no entrance exam. I applied online through the college's official portal. The eligibility criteria was to pass the 12th standard with Mathematics or Computer Science as a compulsory subject. After applying, the college released a merit list based on the 12th board percentage. Since I had scored 73%, my name appeared in the first list itself. The typical cutoff for BCA is around 55% to 60%. After the list was out, I had to visit the college for document verification and fee payment.
