Course Curriculum Overview

There are Good faculty for each department. I choose chemical engineering because it is very good facilities in this collage and placement is also very good .And the management team of this collage is also very good and helpful.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 634000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

This collage total btech fess is 634000( with hostel ) and 532000( without hostel ) .There are SVMCM ( Swami Vivekananda's merit cum mans scholarship) available only for West Bengal domicile students.this collage have BSCC ( Bihar students credit card ) and WBSCC ( West Bengal student credit card ) facilities

Campus Life

The campus life in this collage is very good . There are big library for students studies and it's name Arybhatta central Library. This collage have many cultural and Tech club like example HIT times , HITian Inside , IEEE HIT SB .

Hostel Facilities

There are good hostel facilities. This collage have total 11 students for girls and boys hostel . Like p5 boys hostel , p1 boys hostel , p4 boys hostel , ranichak , Balaji . The mess food qualities is average .

Hostel Fee: INR 12200 per year

Admission

In this collage there are three types of admission.First one is jee main and second one is direct admission and the another process is WBJEE ( West Bengal joint entrance examination) , it's only for West Bengal domicile students.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, IBM,Amazon and many more visits the college and companies like TCS and Wipro take mass recruitment and companies like Amazon offers 2-3 job . Approximately 85 percent of the students gets placed . My plans after getting the degree is to get a Software Developer job

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

Many companies visited our college such as TCS , IBM ,COGIZINANT, amd many more . The highest package is around 15 lpa and the average package is 4 - 5 lpa . The placement ratio is around 80 - 85 %

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

I choose haldia institute of technology as it offers a good balanced between affordability infrastructure reputation and academic quality espicially for btech conputer science. HIT is the oldest private engineering college in west bengal with nice nirf ranking with huge campus of 50 acres and well maintained Hostels for boys and girls Average 4-5 lakh placements TCS infosys wipro I have aimed for jadhavpur and IEM kolkata but couldn't make it due to wbjee rank just below cut off some private college were out of my budget like amity and kiit The admission process is smoot and take students through wbjee counseling then seat allotment after this documents verification then admission...Read More

HIT, Haldia Better then Government Colleges of West Bnegal

I have got some government colleges but the placements were worse in those and this college has a huge number placements you know.. for addmission in this college 80 percent are from WBJEE 10 percent from JEE mains and 10 percent from management Quota. The addmission process is quite smooth just fill addmission form they will verify then pay the semester fee and your addmission is done ? verification step is most important there during addmission. I applied to this particular college because of the low expense and it being near to my state, it takes 6 hours to get there which is why I chose to stay at hostel. Good facilities are available, you will not have problem navigating the area however be careful of your surroundings.
