I took BEC Bagalkot.

Internships Opportunities

We are the First batch of VTU.(1998-2002). - Struggled lot to know the syllabus- Exam postponed many times- No proper support at that time- Reference exam paper were not available- Shorter class duration- No bus facility

Not got any opportunity one company (i don't remember the name) planned to come for campus selection, but did not turn back.

Good college overall

Placement Experience:

Placements are common with RV College of Engineering. However for graduating batch of 2025 placements have not been very good. Reason given to us was bad situation of the economy. Also lot of companies do not accept RVITM students and prefer RVCE.

Around 50-100 companies will be visiting every year. 85% of the students will be getting placements. My plan after getting a degree is to work in an MNC company as a web developer.

A good college for completing engineering

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't choose this course it comes in my way though I applied for cs ec I didn't get that course as my cet ranking is high Student-faculty ratio 70:5. All faculty are well versed either they pass from IIT or nit or gold medalists in their respective colleges. To pass all know how is vtu same as other colleges which fall under vtu.

Based on the CET ranking I had online councelling in which I had selected something around 14 to 18 colleges according to the rank list based on previous year data. In that I got Basaveshwar Engineering College, which was around 100km from my native and also it has good review from my seniors. Moreover this is autonomous college.
