It is an autonomous college and reputed in the north Karnataka region. Has served more than 50 years in this field giving knowledge to many people and education quality is never going to compromise here. Once student pass out of this College he will have a great communication with the society and networking.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus was extremely well and updated to practical knowledge. And Board of syllabus everyyear try to find the new things and set the syllabus. As we have updated labaratory system and many industrial webinars were organised to explore and we have visited few industries and undergone internships. Faculties are very helpful and in every step they help us to reach the destiny. I would like to take Dr. S H Jangamshetti name for guiding me in every step.
Internships Opportunities
I have opted for a short time internship in two companies. Which was not a paid internship. In shanthala pvt ltd Hubli and in kirloskar electric limited Hubli.
Placement Experience
Training and placement cell organises many trainings to the final year students. And nearly 50+ companies visit our campus everyyear. From the College full support is provided to the students in placement aspects. The highest package offered is 7.36 lacks from TCS fro digital drive. And median 3.5 lacks is the package from the companies. Alumni's are placed in well and many have started startups and they are entrepreneur so we get few offers from alumnies.
College Events
The College is placed in North karanataka region it's interest towards organising extracurricular activities is high. Every year college organises two national level fests which includes technical and non technical events and cultural programs. Every student of college take participation in the events and other college students also take parts in the national fest.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah state government gives scholarship to every students whose income is less or not having a person who have an govt job in family. It's upto the tuition fees. And many banks provide student loans for students including hostel and college fees with low interest rate.
Campus Life
College was established in 1963. Through its an old college but infrastructure was well designed and college gives important to sports and in many sports College has won the prizes. The library is constructed with advanced technology and E-library is also available to students. Wi-fi is provided to students by 24*7 with high band width.Laboratory is highly advanced and trying to give there best to students.
Hostel Facilities
Yeah i have opted for hostel. Infrastructure is good and food is healthy. We can say it is vegetarian mess. Hostel rooms have to be shared with 3 people and almost students stay in hostel rathen choosing the PG's. Even PG's are near by college. College hostel has 48000/- fees every year with the deposit of 5000/-. The hostel registration is very easy. The beside of college only hostel is there just u need to fill the registration form and fees so hostel confirms the security of the student.
