Events, focus on studies and placements, the overall experience was good. Better than many other colleges available in Nagpur city

Course Curriculum Overview

I got the course through my CET scores. I got into Electronics Engineering. The curriculum is good as it is an autonomous college. Faculty is highly qualified and ready to help anytime you need them .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are subjective. But it's around 90% I would say. There any many companies that come on campus. And the salary lies anywhere between 2.8 lacs to 10 lacs but it's generally 4-6lac for maximum students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got into EBC and so that means being from OPEN category I had to pay roughly 50,000 less than what my fees was (yearly) and they do have many more scholarships on category basis. One can apply according to the needs.

Campus Life

Life at college is good. You have annual events, traditional days, technical events and so on. Plus, they do focus on studies as their first priority. We had the least number of events in our college compared to other colleges in our city.

Admission

Admission was based on our JEE or CET scores. According to the scores you get the streams provided by the college. It does have EBC and reserve category scholarships too. Application form and admission process was smooth

Placement Experience:

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. The average Package is almost about 3 lakhs per annum.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

•I have applied for most of the autonomous colleges in Maharshtra but in YCCE the placement are comparatively better. I've also applied for Raisoni college and Priyadarshini college of engineering in Nagpur as in nagpur the cost of living is cheaper compared to big cities like pune and Mumbai. •Did not get the rejection from other colleges I just preferred this college above all colleges. •You can take admission through score card of Mht Cet and JEE mains & also through management quota. Mht Cet is the exam from where you have higher number of chances to get admission as only 20 percent of seats are reserved for managements students .Cut off for CS branch varies form 95 to 96 percentile and of core branches below 70 percentile is also accepted....Read More
