Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose btech in IT this course is extremely good and best for me and all the faculty members are so friendly and helpfull in each and every situation they help us . Our hod sir is also very helpfull even all the faculty members are friendly with us

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 543000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Top recruiting companies here are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, CTS, Mindtree, Persistent and many more. Our college provides good placements and internships for CSE, IT, and ECE students. The college provides very less number of placement opportunities, but the placements are good for good students.

Placement Experience

Previous year from our department one senior bhaiya has placed in nutanix with a salary of 25 LPA. From 4 year students are eligible for the campus placements. Some companies are tcs, tvs, Wipro, Infosys, CTS, Mindtree, Persistent and many more. The highest package I have already told and the average package is 4 to 5 LPA. The percentage of getting placements are good like previous year it was 50-70 percent

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a private college the fees structure is good as per private college and svami vivekananda scholarship, oasis scholarship, student credit card, even we can apply private scholarship and campus job is also good

Campus Life

Cuz it's my first year I haven't explore that much of campus but whatever I explore I loved it very much. There are many clubs in the clg like robotics club, hardware club, coding club, entrepreneurship cell club, literacy club etc . The infrastructure is also best the design of the clg is so beautiful. Many sports are there to play like volleyball, basketball, football, cricket, badminton, etc and even in the clg we have NCC

Admission

I have taken admission under wbjee it's an state level entrance exam for engineering students the eligibility of the course is after 12 it's can be found offline for the college admission and for wbjee exam it can be found online the reservation benefits is for SC and ST no I don't need any improvement

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
