What Students Say
Likes
- Societies are a huge yes. If you are part of this college make sure you join some societies. Since it teaches you much more than those dumb classes.
- non teaching staff behaviour is quite good. Everytime I have some problems they go out of their way to help me out.
- regular events are conducted on red walls and seminar hall. Which is quite fun. Coming out of classrooms finding the college decorated is a great experience.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is really poor. Desks are old. Most of the classess have chipped walls. College at least needs a whitewash asap.
- The Library facilities are really Below average. The librarian is rude he literally screams at you. They won't issue you books before exams. And if the college is closed and you can't return the book he will shout on you.
- Limited books. The library has old and useless books stuffed in there. It's not really helpful I need to spend 15 minutes searching for books that even fit my curriculum
Course Curriculum Overview
I was already very interested in commerce. which is why I chose this course. Faculty is good enough thought after the change in the curriculum there was a disturbance in the faculty ratio.(since the new batches have 7 subjects). I would say the quality of faculty differs. All of them are highly educated and qualified though, some of them teach really good. Mostly they don't care. Sone teachers are really very good others are just there to do the job. The internals are a huge scam. Teachers don't pay attention to it one student might put his heart and soul to finish it but end up getting much less marks than another student who just copied it. So I'd say it's totally upto your luck .
Fees and Financial Aid
I think the fees is okay. 9k per year isn't a big cost. Though students living in pg and flats find it expensive since the college itself is in malviya nagar. It's costly here. The college does provide financial support to reserved category students. I think the placement cell is there. But it's not reliable.
Campus Life
Fests earlier were really average though last year the college really invested a bit. Societies are good being a society president myself I can assure that. Though teachers take you for granted.you also get attendance marks for participating in societies. College is really average. Infrastructure is poor. The classrooms are messed up in one part of the college. About libraries. I'd say it's pretty much below average. Since there are not plenty of books. Most of them are really old and outdated. The best thing I'd say is joining societies. It gives you the exposure that at least makes coming to college worth it.
Admission
It was smooth, I had a EWS certificate. The non teaching staff is good. They called and coordinated with me while my admission. I didn't give cuet so I don't really have much knowledge about the same.
