Course Curriculum Overview

My course is DATA SCIENCE in computer science. The faculty in my college are very friendly and are too supportive in my skill building. They are very supportive that I can solve all my doubts . The faculty here are completed their PhD and MTECH in their respective colleges They are very skillful and supportive.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For my course the fee is 115000 in my college and extra 20000 for all other concern fees. I won't gat any scholarship because my father is an government employee. The campus placements in our college are too good recently 8 to 10 companies visited our college for recruitments And placements.

Campus Life

In my colleges many fests are conducted like technical fests recently a fest called VISHESH was conducted in which all students came up with their own ideas. Also traditional fest and freshers and all other events. In my college there Is SAC which is known as student association council in which various clubs are combined like dance club, sports club, technical club, music club,etc.

Admission

I applied for EMACET entrance test and I got seat in the college by counselling process by my rank obtained. I applied this exam by my choice to do BTECH and this data science course got by chance but not by choice.

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
