- I liked the family culture of IIT Kanpur. It means that seniors are like our parents which help us at any moment.
- I also like the mess food . Because of lot of varieties.
- I like the opportunity it provides to students for doing anything.
Dislikes
- There are some profs which are very strict.
- There are also some seniors which used drugs and alcohol.
- They did not provide single room so it's also bad.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have choosen the course as per my jee rank and I also have interest in bio . Faculty:student ratio is good enough and faculty are highly qualified and they teach well . Exam usually held in the interval of 1 month and if you are regular at class you will easily pass in the exam
Internships Opportunities
There are lot of lot companies which come for internship in the end of the 2nd year and many students get internship. Some of the students offered on site role and some get remote roles student can avail internship.
Placement Experience
In 4th year student sit in there placements and top companies like Google, Amazon , Microsoft, etc visit in our campus placements. Highest package is around 2 crores and average is 25 lakhs . Almost every student got placed . My plan is to secure decent job after graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is like that there is tusion fee which is 1 lakh for 1 semester and other hostel and mess charges . There is a scholarship for economically backward student named mcm . And there is also campus placements.
Campus Life
There is 3 fest , techkriti (technical fest) , antaragni(cultural) and udghosh (sports) . library is full of books you will find any type of books you want . There are sports facilities which are top class but it didn't accomodate the large number of students. There are social groups and club like dance , music, film , robotic etc . And there is lot of websites run by student like student search for searching any student .
Hostel Facilities
Room usually have a bed , chair , table and it is of good condition, meal quality is good like they give every type of vegetables paneer and also non-veg . Registration process Is a very easy process you just need to submit your documents to hall office.
Admission
To get into IIT Kanpur I quality jee mains to eligible for jee advanced exam and cleared jee advanced, After qualifying the exam I get into jossa round and fill my choices to which college I want and got IIT Kanpur.
