Course Curriculum Overview

I always want to becme Enjeeneer, faculty are good and class is bit crouded all the faculty hav phd and are welll educated and they teach us according to our necessarity. The exam wass always in the time and it was moderate to pass

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It was high fees and very hard to afford and we were not in well to do family and I was not much educated to earn that money for my study. I have not get any scholarship and I am in 1 st year so dont get a job

Campus Life

Annual jes tech is done in December our library consist only syllabus book not book of any other matter, amenties are great in classroom, there is huge ground in our campus and I AM in cricket club,( jis cricket group)

Admission

12th pass is the eligibility of course. I get application form via online, 500 is the application fees and it was filled on05/072023..yes I want that admission process to be bit smooth and it should not be too money centic

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are overall good, students can apply for the placement form 5th and 6th semester and can get PPOs's companies like Microsoft, google, amazon comes during the placement season and every year, so many students get placed even with a package greater than 2cr INR. The average package is around 18 Lakhs.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
