Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I am interested in the field of electronics. Faculties are great with high qualification and experience. Term exams are there twice an academic year and passing them depends on your preparation level.

Internships Opportunities

Since I am new to the college I am not aware about the details of internship opportunities much. But vast opportunities are there. There is even a dedicated internship cell also in the campus. Internships are there.

Placement Experience

Front 6th semester a student is eligible for placement. Almost all good companies are visiting our campus for placement. Almost 100% placement is also there. Highest package can go upto 30 lakh and average package is around 6-7 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is a government college the fee isn't that high compared to other private colleges. Also we can apply for many scholarships which can aid our academics. Government scholarships are also there.

Campus Life

There are three fests in CET . Disha, Drishti and Dwani. They are usually conducted in the second term of academic year. CET has a great library with many books . Sports and other extra curricular activities are also there.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good with good food and accommodation. Fee is low compared to other private hostels. Also many students residing together is of great use when it comes to studies and so on. We can help each other.

Hostel Fee: INR 50160 per year

Admission

Keam is the entrance exam for BTech. This is a state level entrance exam. Application form can be found in official website of KEAM , cee.kerala.gov.in Reservations are there for backward classes, SC, ST etc

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Placement is average .top MNC except Google and Microsoft comes here.examppes are Infosys,TCS,Shobha construction etc.average package was 4 lpa some gotabove 10 lpa some students got more than one placement .no of offers made was about 300.from s6 onwards students become eligible for placement. Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank.
