Kerala Engineerin Entrance Examination conducted by Kerala Government's commission for examination, It will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Maths, the entrance score later added to the mark scored in 12 th standerd in PCM, and they publish mark list based on this sum of mark, admission is based on allotments that followed, it was in my third allotment I got admission in this college, the course i got admission is Electronics and Communication which is one of 5 courses that have here, i choose this course because my interest in Electronics

Electronics and Communications is one of core courses in B.tech, so it has great opportunities and application in most of every fields, Theory and practical both have equal importance in this University, but we could feel that we are more focusing on practical side, every semester we have to learn a common subject like life skills, economics, sustainable engineering,etc.. up to 4 th semester maths is in syllabus, later syllabus is completely concentrated on core subjects, after 4th semester one of 6 subject will be elective.

M.tech has stipend about 10000 Ruppees, and there are no internships are conducted till date, but workshops are conducting very often, ant they are great

Placement is done in every year, And many of them are got placed, the and every year newer companies are coming for placement

The great event is Tech fest, it is technical and cultural fest, And there is College Arts, sports, freshers day, 'Ponpulari' which conducted on 1 st November in Kerala's birthday, and womens day

As a Government college we have fee benefits while comparing with other category of colleges, here tuition fee for one year is around 8000, exam fee and other fees are will be a sum of 4000+ per year, thats all

Here there are two type of hostels, one is college hostel it is very cheap, but the admission is based on the merit of entrance list and distance from the college to their native place, but girls have admission directly because college is giving great importance to their safety, And there are plenty of private hostels are also available, you can choose with your interest, In college hostels rent is about 250, and private hostel is from 850 to 1000, it will be changed with it is single or double, Food is traditional malayali food, and it is delicious,

Exams are a burden one or another way for every student, here is no exception, the syllabus is for a semester, and we have yo secure internal score of minimum 23 out of 50 and 75% of attendance in each subject to qualify chance to write the end semester examination, otherwise they will get a paper back and they have to write it upcoming year, Labs are very friendly, and there are no lab exams, but the continuous evaluation is done through out the semester

Being a Government college we have the benefit to learn from the bests, most of our faculties are permanent government employees, some are holding Phds in their respected fields, most of them are very interactive, they mingle and discuss with us, and they are happy to help in all time
