Government Engineering College, Palanpur was established in 2009, with an objective of imparting higher education in the field of engineering and technology. This institute is recognized by All India Council of Technical Education [AICTE], New Delhi. In April, 2013 the college was shifted at its new campus near Jagana village which 05 km from Palanpur city. The first batch of Engineering has passed out in the year 2013.

Vision of the college is “To excel in technical education and research by amalgamation of students, faculties and industries for serving the nation”
Mission of the college is “To make the students to be better technocrats and professionals with quality, meeting their needs in the area of technical studies and providing better learning opportunities to develop skill for creating a better tomorrow”
College is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmadabad
IGNITE (Individual’s Growth & Nourishment (through) Integrated Technical Education) and seven strand activities, which include Academics, Research and Entrepreneurship, Hospitality and Mess, Training and Placement, have been started.

There is no entrance exam from college side of the student is the diploma Holder and they want to addmission after diploma (D2D) THEN the entrance exam is here and it is not more difficult and the addmission process is so simple and faster then the other universities

the eligibility for this course is 10 + 2 with PCM or diploma in Engineering I found the application form in the advertisement the fee for application is Rs 2100 there is no reservation in the application fees I do not want to improve in the admission process.
