Remarks

My college helped me in achieving somthng which i always wanted i.e set of people whom i can rely upon. with some extraordinary teachers nad people in and around campus provides something called perfect college life

Entrance Preview

I entered this college by appearing in Wbjee.Got a decent rank and landed up in dept. of Computer science and engineering. After counselling process and allocation of seats in the college we were straightaway required to fill up the admission forms and get admitted in the college.though a lot of paperwork needed to be done.

Course Curriculum Overview

An amazing course . I chose Computer science and engineering as my department. Equal attention is given to theoritical and practical subjects

no clue till now but heard of it that we will get some internships,however if a student is talented enough he can get himself ina decent internship

The placement scenario is decent till now,atleast we have heard of it to be decent.Almost all the students got placed somewhere or the other with TCS being the mass recruiter for yearx

Fee Structure And Facilities

Affordable fees structure. It is nearly 45000 per semester and varies from year to year. as in for the first semester we have 44000 as sem fees where as the fidure increases by 1000 with increase in years

the college allows and agrees with scholarship scheme of west bengal scheme of tution fee waiver(tfw) and also helps with documentation if someone wants to avail loans.

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

Unveiling HITK

So, basically i gave all engineering exams and i got good marks in jee as well as in wbjee but waiting for jee councelling to get decent college of my choice unfortunately i did not got what i was expecting and thus throung my jee marks i got admission in hitk which is also a decent college. Talking about the application form u will find in wbjee websiteand its fees is 500 rs also application dates are available in the website itself .
