Likes

Good curriculum and library. Nice lush green campus and the college is more study oriented.
Sports facilities are good for people who need to aspire in sports.
They there own gym and there are a lot of clube to take part in.

Dislikes

Very small campus area which makes it very less happening.
Canteen is worse nothing is good and everything is overpriced
A lot of academic pressure and some faculties are very rude

Based on my percentile SGSITS INDORE CSE BRANCHwas the best option for me as I live in indore so it was very convinent for me and also sgsits is one of the best colleges in mp. Faculties are mainly phds and are very supportive and helpful some faculties are bad also but most of them are nice. Also most of the syllabus is to done by you only. The teachers would only teach you briefly. Terms exams were on time and and the difficulty was medium.

Internships Opportunities

A lot of internship opportunities are provided by the college for students onwards 2nd year. There is also a idea lab where students can pitch there ideas and they can get help in there business or project. Also there is a CIDI center for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good as compared to other engineering colleges and an average of 6-8 lakhs package is given to a student. Most of the students gets placed in non core branches and more than 50% get placed in core branches.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is quite affordable like 1-1.5 lakhs per yr depending upon course for btech and branch. Various scholarships are also providing for SC,ST AND OBC. Also MMVY is provided. And college is quite affordable as it a govt autonomous college

Campus Life

Campus Life is quite okay as the campus is very small and the buildings are old too. But events take place regularly and you can easily participate in them. Also there are a lot of clubs in which you can take part. Sports facilities are also okay and they open only after 4:30 PM

Admission

In order to take addmission one need to give jee mains exam in which one has to secure more than 98%ile for CSE branch general. I got 97.5%ile OBC CSE branch. Then after that we have to register for MPDTE counselling. Addmission process is smooth can is done after jee advanced.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

Placement Experience:

from the 6 or 7 semester the student become eligible for campus placement.Companies like dell,amazon,zomato and mass recruiters like tcs and conginizant also come . this year the highest package was 70 lpa and 8 lpa is the average package offered 1200 across offfers are made 60 percent of students are placed generally sde role is offered my plan is to get a decent job

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

Sgsits Cs is my first priority but not enough to get there so aim for IT the reason why i end up here is because i got manipulated and every one is saying as it rank 3rd in mp. I love to join mnit but its not enough to get in there. Apply for ugeee but fail to crack and i don't want to apply for bits because it is super expensive i want to join government college but its my wrong choice to join this college. SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

I applied for IET davv but I kept it as second preference in MP dte counselling. Other options available for me were some IIITs and lower branches in NITs but I wanted to go for IT sector. Now reason for me for choosing this college was it was slight better than iet and slight lower than IIITs but fees of IIITs was very high, So I didn't applied for them. When I applied for sgsits suddenly they increased their fees. I had no option left other than iet or taking sgsits, but in between confusions and dilemma I choosen sgsits by suggestions of relatives and other elders. Admission process is done through MP dte counselling, based on jee mains rank. Cutoff of general category for IT branch is about AIR 45,000. The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
