A journey of my college life

The college is really good when talked about in a general sense, the best thing about it being the placements and the packages offered.

The joint entrance examination(jee) score is used to calculate an all India rank. On the basis of this rank, merit based admissions in this college are provided.

Im a student of IT department. The subjects right from the first semester are such that they impart important knowledge. The curriculum is very much upto date. Cgpa based system has been introduced in college lately. Electives are offered so that students can opt for a subject of their choice and give a boost to their GPA.

Many companies came for providing internships to students. Around 80 per cent students got offers on campus. Stipend ranged from 70000 to 10000 per month with average being 25000 per month.

I don't know the numbers but I know that there are plenty of people who get jobs in computer related fields. Its all about where you focus your energy. If you are really good at what you do, you can get placed anywhere you want. I know a lot of people from my batch who got into IT firms. You should aim for what you are interested in, and you can get job in that field. May be you won't be allowed to sit in for a company or two. But there will be others. Always remember that a firm coming for placement is looking for the best candidate for a position, not the best candidate from a particular branch.

1st year fees was payed in two parts. (After seat allocation) Rs75000 + Rs60000 during registration. 2nd year fees was rs 135000, 3rd year fees was Rs145000, 4th year fees was Rs160000.

No, there are 2 exams which are conducted every semester; midsems and then endsems. So, they didn't happen frequently. The subjectwise labs too happen once a week.

All the professors are highly qualified. Be it phd, mtech etc all teachers are well experienced and experts in their fields.
