Likes

The 200 yrs old magnificient building sculpted by the Britishers.
The campus is very vast spread around the heartland of Allahabad also Known as Oxford of the East.
It gives holistic growth for all around development for the student.

Dislikes

The classes were not running on regular basis .
The admisnistration and the management are not very keen and active to listen to the problems of the student.
The student union was diswoned and necessary steps should be taken to restore it.

I was really keen to study this course so, I opted for it. The student faculty ratio is quite good 110:10. They are well qualified and experienced from various prestigious universities. The exams were taken on Yearly basis.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 1025 per year

Internships Opportunities

The students got oppurtinities from various companies and industries for Internship opportunities. The main recriuters were Ambuja Cement, NTPC etc. They were asked to write a report of their work during the internship period. They used to provide the experience on the successful completion of the project work.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is merely rupees 1025 for the B.Sc course. The scolarships were provided by the University as well as from the state government. The on-campus recruitment varies around 2.5-5 lakh per annum. The name of the scholarship provided by the state government is UP-Scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus is very much charismatic and joyful, the 200 yrs old building stand magnificient and great. The central library contains almost all sort of books and journals. The classrooms are well-equipped with smart class and projectors. The students are highly enthusiastic about sports and cultural activities.

Admission

The admission process is granted on the entrance based marks conducted by Allahabad university. The eligibilty criteria for the course is minimum aggregrate 50% in class 10 & 12 boards. The application form is available on the University portal.

I choose bsc bioinformatics as I love programming and research sector as I took pcb in 11th ... I couldn't go for btech ... But then I researched and found about this course which need computer skills with biology background.. a perfect match for someone like me.. after the pandemic and technical growth in biology sector .. bioinformatics became one of the most growing area .. In india it's rare to find people know about this is even a sector so yeah less competition and big opportunities to work abroad .. But I am pursuing this course in this college which have very bad curriculum..the faculty isn't proper to teach us about bioinformatics and we are just study the syllabus of biotech in a mixed class ... I will rate it's a bad idea to pursue bioinformatics from Swami vivekanand subharti university...

Placement Experience:

Highly the placement in my course is in master's. The percentage of placement in M.sc is above 90 percent with average of 10.8 LPA So , if I have done Bachelor's in BHU the there is 25% reserved seat for Student who have done Bachelor so getting in Master's is very easy .
