Entrance Preview

I wrote NEET 2017.In that I have passed with First Class percentage. After KEA of Karnataka conducted the Seat Allotment Process for NEET eligible candidates for MBBS seat. So I got seat in this college for further studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's one of the Prestigious and also Responsible course which I took.Here 95% of the focus is on the practical learning.In this college 1 research work is going on in physiology topic.

Internships Opportunities

Internship will be provided by every single medical college.It will be a nice experience for further treatment. And we can also do the internship in other college also.

Placement Experience

I don't know much about the placement section.According to my friends the placement of students will be good.And we can also jobs in KMC Manipal. Since this college have tie up KMC MANIPAL.

Chiasma is the only 1 event taking in a whole year.

I am staying in College Hostel. Condition of Hostel room are not proper.but they will take about 125000 per year for hostel fee.There is no word about the Quality and Quantity of Food. Because it is Phenomenal.

It will be a heavy tired sessions after end of the day.

In this college u can find 1 of the best Teaching faculty's.Here all the department have well experienced(about 10 years) proffessors with best teaching skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

One of the best medical college in Karnataka

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I liked Biology very much in my 11th and 12th and I also wanted to be a doctor since my childhood. Faculty:student ratio in this college is well maintained. There is 1 faculty member over 25 students. All the faculty are well qualified and experts in their fields. Some of the professors are functioning as scientists for the university and have reserved some patents for their researches. The teaching methodology is also very good and according to the latest norms set by the university. Every year you have to go through some college-level exams ( Internal Assessment) three times. And you must score at least 50% as aggregate in each subject to be eligible to give the final University Exams. All the exams taken are as per the latest Revised Scheme for evaluation set by the university. On average the difficulty of exams is high. Regular studies and consistency can make anyone pass the exams .

Nothing negative our college has maintained good greenery also it also has a separate gardening department which looks after the garden. It's a huge campus so walking around only takes a lot of time is in between Hubli and dharwad so its well accessible, this college is one of the best so no remarks

Good college with a good infrastructure and facilities but college doesn't have any canteen, students should go to hospital canteen in case. There are two hospitals in this campus. One is super speciality hospital and the other is general hospital.

Firstly, since manglore was closest to banglore I considered joining this college. Secondly, since I had a reservation ( under linguistic minority) the chances of me getting a seat in this college would've increased hence the choice.however, It would be unfair if I didn't talk about the very friendly staff and infrastructure of my college. Though medical colleges can be very stressful Srinivas medical college always finds way to implement fun along with learning. All the other activities conducted in our college ( sports day, foundation day etc) helps us take our mind off the stress we develop from studies and help us relax. The teachers also put in a lot of effort in helping us reduce the stress and cope up with the vast portions. The laboratory facilities are great too.
