Course Curriculum Overview

i choose the course BE-CSE because i am interested in studying the coding.the faculty is very good and very well educated. the paper held every months mst 2 times then final paper every semester. we can pass the exam if we study regurlarly.

i am currently in 2nd year . i didn't dia any internshio till now. but in future i will do the internship. i did many projects for the university and even worked for research paer and it got publshed...

Placement Experience

from 3rd year students can apply for placements. many compnies have visited the university and students get good placements depend upon their abilities. the companies offer 5 lakh- to 50 to 60 lakh packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees structure depends upon the course you take. they give scholrship to every student if they are eligible for scholarship. but to maintain the scholarship you have to get 75% average every year. i want a good job with stipend upto 8-15 lakh .

Campus Life

the fest happens every month. they incite many singers and actors . their is a full avaliability of books and journals in the library. the classroom is in good shape . their are many extra curricular activities on the campus.the campus life is so good and enjoyfull

Hostel Facilities

the room has 2 fans. one cooler one study table. the mess meal is accurate sometimes good sometime just eatable. the regestratiom process for hostel is very easy AND the hostels are in very affordible range.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

the eligibility critirea typically include special academic qualifications.it have 10+2 equivalent with certain minimum grades in relevant subjects.you can find the all information in cu official website.there is no improvement to be needed in admission process.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.
