Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I want a technical degree. MCA is a technical degree. There are Approximately 1:6 faculty:student ratio in my college. They all are well educated faculties and there teaching method is also very good. There are very timely term exam and not so difficult to clear it.

Nomura role offer from Nomura is for software developement, IVS with Analyst role, then IVP with Software intern KPMG For again for Analyst role JP Morgan for Software developement intern. And clevertap for Analyst

Placement Experience

From 3rd semester we are eligible for campus placement for masters degree and for engineering we are eligible from 5th semester. Total there are 50 to 60 companies visited on campus and something arround 200 to 300 offers were given. Average package is 4LPA and highest package is 20 to 30LPA and profiles were Analyst, Software developer etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a fee study at 1.2 lakh in my college and approximately 10 to 20% fees hike after every year. I don't have the scholarship so I don't know about it and I got a job at Capgemini with a decent package.

Campus Life

Because of Covid there was no fest conducted. In general fest happenes in Nov and Dec. There are many books and journals available in the library and Amenities as well in classroom. There are verious sports activity and extra curricular activity happens on campus.

Admission

First and for most Eligibility for MCA is to complete Bachelor's Degree in any of Science stream. Then we have to clear MAH MCA CET which is an entrance exam for MCA in Maharashtra colleges. Application form is available on MAHMCA mca.mahacet.org Application fees for this is 1000 for the general category.

Reality of College

Placement Experience:

Placements are Normal in my college like, Freshers get less package like 2.4 LPA but they get placed as I have listened from seniors. Like I am in first year now I dont have much knowledge about this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about the courses which chhatrapati shivaji maharaj University provides are good they almost provide all the courses students have choices which course they want to choose. From my perspective all the teachers should improve their teaching method because csmu teachers don't teach students well. Exams which is held usually after one and a half month of college starting is of 1 hour duration and our semester exam duration is 3 hours and exam level is average students can score well in exams.
