Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it's my dream to become a Engineer. Faculty and Student ratio is 18 to 21. Qualification is Phd. in their subject and teaching method is very nice. There is 2 MST and 1 EST exam conducted in 1 semester and it is to difficult to pass.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities

their are many companies visites in our Chandhighar University for placement interviews .And about more than eight hundred companies vist every year and about ninty nine percent student is placed in companies. most of student get placement in more than 2 or 3 companies and our university international highest package is more than 1 crore.

6 semester students become eligible for campus placement. about 800+ companies visited in our college campus and provide multiple offers to the students. 1 Crore + is our university highest package . about 99 percent student is placed in company.

Our college fees is Two lakh fourty thousand per annum and it is not a large amout because faculty in our college give their best . Our college Scholarship name is CUCET (Chandhighar University Common Eligible Test).

Campus Life

fest is normally conducted in our college Tashan Nites is conducted in october and our fresher's is conducted in november. There is a lot of books in our college library . All books are easily avaliable.

Hostel Facilities

Facilites provided are study table, almira, lights, wifi, etc. Our hostel meal menu is very good and quality of food is to good. Yes it's to register for hostel and it is affordable also.As we compare to the facility and the quality of food and other facilites is provide it is not so large amount.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

Student (He/She) must be 12th passout . This is our college criteria to take admission in our college. I found it on the University (Chandhighar University) Website. No, I don't want any improvement in admission process.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
