Expectation vs reality

i chose ece in nit calicut because of its high standard syllabus and decent package . the faculty at nit calicut is experienced and knowledgeable ,contributing significantly to the learning environment . qualification of faculty are impressive with expertise in cutting edge technology and research areas. term exams at nitc for the ece dept were conducted timely,ensuring an structured acedmic calender . the difficulty level of exam is quite challanging.

following companies are there: microsoft, google,goldman sachs, l&t, tata motors. student have to present otcomes on slides in front of supervisor .special faculty are provided for project for checking the correct procedures and equipments etc.

from 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement followings are some companies:microsoft,amazon,google,l&t,tata motors,goldman sachs etc. highest package is above 40 lpa every yr&avg is above 10 lpa placement percentage is approx. 89% i aspire after getting degree to enter the industry .

fee structure is somewhat affordable dependig on program and category of the student institute offers several schlorship such as merit cum merit ,nsp,ffeetc. on campous jobs are faciliated through the institute placement cell where student can engage in r&d.

life at nit calicut is vibrant,offeringn a diverse social scene with various clubs and activities . the annual cultural fest 'ragam' and the tech fest 'tathva' conducted in october and february respectievely the library boasts an extensive collection of books and journals ,catering to acedmic needs. sports and extracurricular activities thrive on campous ,providing students with opportunities to engage in fitness and recreation.

in hostel all type of facility are available containg sports ,entertainment facility ,gym etc. meal quality is good &affordable and decent menu in hostel registration we have to pay mess and hostel due before registration .

The admission process for nits typically involves meeting certain eligibility cretieria,obtaining the application form ,paying the application fee, .eligibility creteria include a minimum educational qualification , such as passing the 10+2 exams. reservation benefits are available for various categories , such as sc,sT,OBC,EWSetc. one improvement in the admission process could be enhancing transparency and accessibility of information ,ensuring that all eligible candidates,regardless of geographical area.
