I like the campus so much the its so refreshing
The placement are so good a jib is confirmed if you perform average
the campus is located near the city it is good

Dislikes

Hostel food is not that good it cause some trouble
A lot of crows are here every time we get out crows shit on us
We done have a swiming pool that is so bad for a campus like nitc

From third year onwards students become eligible for campus placements Microsoft, Google,D. E. Shaw, Salesforce, Goldman Sachs, TI, Qualcomm, Oracle, Cisco, Atlassian, SAP Labs Almost 90 percentage students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

It will almost cost you around 8 lakh including your hostel fee. Now there is an increase in the fees hike in first year itself it cost me around 1.5 lakh I got kvpy scholarship it is helpful financially

Campus Life

Tathva it is the technical fest of nitc which is conducted on January 2024 Ragam which is the cultural fest of nitc will be conducted in the month april Class rooms are non ac but they provide fans There are a lot of extra caricular activities

Hostel Facilities

Meal quality is not that good it depends on hostel to hostel in some hostels it is good while others sucks Hostel registration is done through nitc hostel app available in play Store No i prefer to stay in hostel

Yes i took the jee main exam to get into my mechanical engineering btech course I found the application dates from social media and got information about the fees from college dunia I got reservation benefits Yes admission process is so time taking.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
