Remarks

The college provides a good experience. It is an apt college for engineering. The placements people get from here are also very good. The overall experience at the college campus is great and enlightening. One can find a fun loving and at the same time knowledgeable crowd.

Entrance Preview

Like most engineering colleges, the college accepts students based on their JEE Mains marks. According to my rank in JEE, this was the appropriate and convenient college. There was no interview round as such.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good but more focus is put on theoretical learning. Practicals are not given adequate attention and that is something that can definitely be improved. I am not aware of any research initiatives being taken by the institute.

Internships Opportunities

Students are provided internships by college through companies like Amazon, Microsoft, De Shaw, Deloitte etc. Some internships are paid too with an average stipend of 30000 Rupees.

Placement Experience

The placement scene is pretty good. Almost all students get places and the average package is 8 lakhs in my course (i.e. COE). Many major companies like Amazon, Microsoft, etc. visit the campus for placements.

College Events

Many events are organised in college. Both cultural and technical fest are organised. Moksha and Innovation are the annual fest of our college. They are organised on a large scale and are pretty enjoyable. Many fun and informative events happen during these fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fee is quite affordable and less than many other engineering colleges. Annual fee is 92,000 Rupees.

Campus Life

The college provides many opportunities in terms of extracurriculars. One gets excellent opportunities to explore one's inner talents. Many events happen in the college throughout the year. Technical, fun, informative; all sort of things keep happening frequently.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I reside in a hostel provided by college. Most of the rooms are single, while some are shared too. Food is provided in hostel but it of average quality, not great just mediocre. The annual fee for hostel is 50000 Rupees.

Alumni/Alumna

The college does have a great alumni network. Students are also provided ample interaction opportunities with them through various different events.

Exam Structure

The exam schedule in my college isn't very hectic. Exams aren't vey frequent and are pretty easy. The overall culture here is quite chill.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I applied for Dtu also and I was getting electrical engineering there and also in NSUT.But considering the distance I choose Nsut over Dtu as I live in Uttam nagar. The Hidden Truth of NSUT

The reason why I chose this college is a bit of personal reason. My two years of hard work didn't pay off well and I didn't want to go to a pvt college, I had made up my mind for that. I was also getting the same branch ICE in BITS too , but due to the reason that it is far away from my home was a bit challenging for me. Also I was getting ECE in Thapar but it was rejected it as the fee is really high. For NSUT, you need to give the JEE mains exam, and after that fill up the JAC counselling. For BITS we have BITSAT exam in which there are two attempts and the best of two counts. Similarly it has its own counselling. For Thapar , you can get admission on the basis of BOARDS score and JEE Mains score as well. The admission process is not that difficult , everything is online , from the fee payment to choice filling. But once the seat is alloted in a particular branch, you need to appear physically the the desired college, in which all the documents will be examined. If you fail to do so or if there is any disperency in the documents , seat will be cancelled immediately. So fill all the required details carefully....Read More
