Some of them are very good some of them are not depends on you and your level exam curriculum is tough u barely gets marks everything in depends on marking scheme the proffs have no mercy in this case ! Although good enough faculty in program core

Fee structure is good for students of sc and st for gen it might be more but everything will be worth it once you graduate! Financial assistance they provide u loan opportunities and campus jobs for cse is too good avg package of 20.4 lacs

Campus Life

Infrastructure is poor ! You will find diversity here people from all over india comes here! Thats why there is majority and minority thing here ! Which I personally hate! Clubs you will get entry in clubs in second year although induction takes place for fest team n all in first year

Not too good they put 4 people in a room that can fit only 3 people i hate it hostel infra is not good in first year although in second year its good you will get ok food there affordable enough so that you can get in easily

I gaved JEE mains ! Then i got 97.98 percentile through jossa i got it cutt off for other state sc is 550 to 861 air category wise! Then i came to college and got to know about government benefits for sc st student

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
