Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is changed from this year I.e they started core subjects from 2023 year and the curriculum was scheduled preplaned so we can use that curriculum by time to time and coming to faculty there is no default in staff they all are well experienced

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are really good for our campus we are watching in WhatsApp groups so many companies are coming and so many institutes like iit Kgp are giving certificate for internships so I'm really happy with the internship in our campus

The placements are good and all the students who are having minimum cgpa can participate in placement opportunities so that all the students can maximum get placements every student can get average package of 10 lakhs per annum it's pretty good and all it's one of the most happiest thing in the campus

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is differ from student to student for me I have my income certificate the annual income was less than 1 lakh so I can get the fee reembesment so that I need to pay only hostel fee coming to scholarship there are different kind of scholarships we can apply any scholarship

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty good it's old and good campus coming to nature the whole campus is surrounded by trees so that we can get fresh air and coming to clubs we have different kind of clubs we can join which club we want and all the other activities are good like sports etc

Admission

The admission process is done by Jossa counselling exam was written was jee mains no improvement is needed for the admission process everything is ok for the admission process all the job is done by Jossa I have an annual income of less than 1 lakh so I got fee concession

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
