You can get internship from second year onwards. To get internship you have to learn skills from first year onwards. You have to learn skills according to your department and can get internship . You can apply for internship in LinkedIn and intershala platform.

Placement Experience

Placements are better. If you have courage to learn you can grab a better placements. You can get internship from 2 year onwards. In my branch i.s Ece 90% students get placed every year. You can apply for internship in many online websites also such as intershala LinkedIn.

The total Fee structure of ECE branch including hostel is 5lakhs20thousand. You can apply for NSP and other scholarship. For girls there are many Students who belongs from Kolkata can get many scholarship

Campus life is awesome. You can take part in many social activities in college. Like inter department cricket team and many more. Infrastructure of college is not so big but you you will enjoy in college

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good. Hostel good is also good. You will be provided food 4 times a day. Both vegitarian and nin vegitarian food options ar available in Hostel. Like Fish chicken egg. In parallel who don't eat vegitarian they can ate paneer.

Hostel Fee: INR 72000 per year

Admission

You can take admission through wbjee examination. You have to clear the wbjee cut-off whatever cut-off required branch wise. You can apply the form on wbjee official portal. The Examination fee is Rs500/-. Reservation are for the students of Kolkata only after using domicile certificate they can get certain reservation and many kinds of scholarships. Girls' can get many Scholarships as compared to boy's ????

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
