Remarks

The college is overall good. It offers communicative English classes for ENGLISH HONORS students.

Entrance Preview

I landed up to this college through online forms filling up.. and fortunately I had my name in the merit list. I choose this college as because it is one of the reputed college of my city and the faculty in English is damn too high. I choose B.A English honors as because I personally believe that my strength and skills are up to the mark for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I choose was good. It gives a vivid sense of The old and modern English literature and the language. Our college took initiatives such as organizing seminars for the betterment of the students. I choose English as my Elective Option.

Internships Opportunities

No internship was provided. I don't know as I did not have a placement as i'm a fresher till now.

Placement is almost assured . About 70% students got a suitable job.

College Events

Recently we had our Unions Freshers Program. It was just fantastic. Almost 75% of the college students attended the programme.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very much affordable for a middle class family. It's just Rs.175 (With Geography).

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Yes. Our college provides scholarships for the students. Both boys and girls. I didn't avail. Yes I heard from my friends that our college helps the students in availing those loans

Hostel Facilities

My college doesn't provide the hostel facilities.

Faculty

The teaching staffs are highly qualified. They are highly interactive. They also gives a vivid idea of what they are teaching. According to us the scope of the courses is much better than other colleges. We are provided with four renowned professors who are very skilled and experienced in this subject.

My experience at my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I haven't thought that I will choose Bengali as honours but LBC has a very good activities and also has internship opportunities. Our department teachers are so well behaved and loving. Their teaching method are so good. The semester exam held after 3-4 months. Yes there have very difficulties in those exams but I tried hard.

Placement Experience:

Usually 6 semester students get placed also very few. Almost 2-3 companies' visit packages are usually not up to the mark. The package is usually around 4 lac I would pursue post-graduation. Career counseling and orientations are done most of them go abroad for post-graduation.

Placement Experience:

Well the placement in this college is not good because very few companies comes for placement...well after 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements...some companies like TCS and ICICI who comes for placements well as i belong to English department i don't have a knowledge about the packages being offered to the students ....the percentage of students getting placements are 25% as few companies come for placement...now coming to my plans after getting the degree i will be pursuing Masters in English since i want to continue studying in this department

I miss my School life

Remarks:

Do what you want it's upto you !!!

I choose this college because this college is nearby my house and I have chosen the course B.Com Hons and the eligibility for this is minimum 65% in class 12 from a commerce background and you should pass your 12 with mathematics and commerce . After all these you will get your admission. After completing your 12 when you will get your results then go to the college website you want to get admission in fill the admission form and you have to wait until your name appears on the college pdf. Ananda Mohan College - Life in and after.

We had to visit the college and submit the form with the required documents. The form can now be found online and can be submitted. Once the form is submitted with the required documents, the website will ask for a fee that needs to be provided. I did not avail any benefits, however, there are reservations for different quotas. The process of clearing fees, submitting forms before exams and clearance of library cards was very hectic which needs to be much smoother....Read More
