Likes

The amazing faculty of the college- very much experienced and qualified.
Full stocked Library with multiple copies of the books so that many people can borrow a book at the same time
Well operational union, and cctv surveillance all over the campus

Dislikes

The examination is quite moderately tough
The course curriculum is huge and require very much attentiveness
The canteen has very less food options .

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very vast and strict , it is quite and almost similar to the engineering degrees and has a competitive approach with them. The tenure is also same for both the courses having various activities, exams.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships vary with stipends from 12000 at the starting and the packages vary from 2.5 LPA at starting and highest package at 6 LPA. Projects are carried out at various time intervals with amazing outcomes for various courses.

Placement Experience

There are no such placement offers got directly from the college, but there are various internship opportunities from the college which may lead to amazing offers from different companies if one works well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per year is approximately 10000 to 12000, apart from the session, admission and examination fees. The total course fees as told to us at the time of admission is Rs. 69000. No scholarships got till now , but have applied for one just few days before.

Campus Life

There are lot of events and fests organised at festivals and regular intervals and also at the freshers. There are wide range of books and journals available at the library with multiple copies for more than 1 people to borrow at once.

Admission

I did apply at 3 colleges which I researched for and found out good reviews for computer science namely Vidyasagar College, Surendranath College, and Ananda Mohan College. To which Ananda Mohan College was quite near to my house.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very much qualified and experienced and also dedicated to teaching. The exams occur on a semester basis and seats are provided at other colleges. If anyone fails in any exam he gets a backlog and has to clear it in his course tenure.

Night Life

Gym, cafeteria and libraries are very much operational and pocket friendly canteens with good quality food served at very low price points. Gym is equipped with costly machines and well qualified trainer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum in this college is uoto date, very relevant and with at par with the real world scenario, we learn about disorders, different schools of psychology and a lot more. There is a perfect balance of practical and theory, which is needed in psychology. In terms of improvement, there is always room for it, as of now there arent any suggestions from my side. The frequency of exams are fine, they give us time to prepare however I feel like as, according to the NEP, the semesters should be 6 months long but here they are cutting it short.

Students get placement offers in the first year of M.Stat. In general, however, most students prefer to go abroad for higher studies. Students who sit for placements mostly get placed in Finance and Analytics companies, typically in Business Analyst, Risk Analyst and other roles. I choose this college because this college is nearby my house and I have chosen the course B.Com Hons and the eligibility for this is minimum 65% in class 12 from a commerce background and you should pass your 12 with mathematics and commerce . After all these you will get your admission.
