The course and curriculum is up to date with the NEP and is interesting for people who want to study that subject in depth. this college is acadmic intensive. you have to work hard to secore good grades. faculties are will qualified although they will not spoon feed you eveything and will make you work to learn and grasp knowledge. We are being tested on a daily basis.

we get good companies like goldman sachs oracle microsoft sprinkler etc the average page is around 12lpa out of 1200 students almost 300 get internship opportunities. We have different clubs which helps us to provide experience.

Campus Life

annual fest is ragam and tech fest is tatva dates vary. a weel equipped library with all the books related to you course curriculim. THE ADMINISTRATION like to spend a lot of money on sports. clubs are decent.

Hostel Facilities

in first year you will sahare a room with 4 people and if you get the newly developed part of the hostel consider yourself lucky. we have geysers, the water quality in filters is really bad. mess is a problem if you are a vegetatian.

Hostel Fee: INR 66000 per year

Admission

We get admisson in NIT Calicut via JEE Mains scores. If this college is alloted to we have to do online and physical verification of documents. After succefully getting your documents verified and paying admission and hostel fee you can join the college. The admission process is yery strics they will check each and every document throughly. Also read their rules and regulations throughly befor joining the college

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
