Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had keen interest in computer science from beginning and I wanted to become a software engineer so it was good for me that I was able to get this course here. The faculty ratio is relatively good as every 20 students have a counsellor assigned to them apart from this the class is also relatively small so it is relatively good. The faculty are well experienced and have PhDs in their field and some have masters their teaching method is decent. College follows rules from SPPU so it happens in regular interval and they were relatively easy as most were able to get good marks if they had focused in class and laid full focus in last week.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

College provides good platform for internships as some of the seniors have done internships from foreign also. Many companies visit here such as Barclays, Microsoft, Google for summer internship program which is both foreign/national and the stipend is also good here as many seniors have got more than 1 lakh stipend. PPO offers are also common from internships programs. The projects depends on which company you want to apply for. You learn a lot of things from those projects.

Placement Experience

5

The students become eligible from 3 year 2nd semester for campus placements and the placements is the biggest highlight of the college as it is relatively high. Many companies visit here such as Microsoft, Cred, Udchalo, Deutsche Bank, Deloitte, etc. The highest package offered was 52 lakhs and the average package is 14.2 lakhs so it is relatively good despite being recession year. The percentage of students getting placed is more than 95 percent. I am planning to get placed in a good multinational company and start my professional career.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is relatively high according to me and I don't really understand what they consider for fee hike. The cost to study is comparable to any other private college. As all of us are Army wards so we get scholarship from PMSS of 30000 per year apart from this if you are topper you get various merit scholarship which is of around 25000. The girls relatively get a lot of scholarships from different institutes so their fees is relatively low at the end.

Campus Life

4.5

We have a annual fest AMETHYST in Feb-March every year apart from this we have PACE which is sports fest in April. PACE is a inter college fest in which teams from various college compete. Innerve is an inter college tech fest which is a hackathon conducted in April and the prizes of it are relatively high. The classrooms are well equipped having projectors, Leds, Computers so it relatively good. The sports opportunity is very huge in the college as college has squash, table tennis courts, tennis courts, badminton court, football ground, cricket pitches, boxing rings, kabbadi ground, volleyball court. Seniors also encourage to start a game so the opportunity is plenty. The college has 29 clubs and you can join them by giving a interview to seniors. Some of clubs insta I'd are-oss_club_ait, trinity, etc

Hostel Facilities

4

The rooms are decently spacious and have almirahs, tables, chairs for students. It has decent environment for studying and other activities. The meal quality is decent and their is a lot of variety apart for this for 2 days in a week we can opt for paid mess. The food is nutritious. The hostel registration process in integrated in the registration form and is relatively affordable according to the facilities provided.

Admission

The college accepts Army Peronnel children only on the basis of JEE Mains rank. The students who clear the merit are eligible for the course. You can find application form on the official website of Army Institute of Technology, Pune and there is no amount required to fill the application form and the application date is before JEE Advanced before other colleges but it also changes sometimes for more info one must check official website regularly after JEE Mains. There is no such reservation on caste it but only accepts Army ward children. The admission process was a bit hectic as we had to take out a lot of documents but only some documents were taken which created confusion at the end.
