What Students Say

Likes

The faculties are much helpful. Students can approach them anytime for doubt solving.
The students and acquintances are also helpful.
The library is really accessible and keeps all kinds of books regarding the syllabus.

Dislikes

The canteen food and hygiene is not at all upto the mark.
Sports is not given enough importance and the playground is not well maintained.
No other point is there to be mentioned as such.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course offers a wide range of job opportunities in the near future. The new AI market is opening up and with that new job opportunities are also created . Faculty student ratio is also good but some department lacks skillful and handful amount of teachers. But the faculties there are much educated.

Internships Opportunities

2 to 5 companies come and approach for internship and students can choose whether or not to do. The stipend and others details are different according to the different companies. Students can choose according to their needs .

Placement Experience

Placements were good till last year. Although top tier companies rarely visit. 2nd 3rd tier companies are more found during campusing. Companies like TCS CTS are common. Other than this many small companies and startups are also seen.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very reasonable as comapred to other colleges in South Kolkata and Weat Bengal. Financial assistance is present in the form of scholarship and students credit card and loan. Campusing is well centred but not well executed still in the 2024 batch.

Campus Life

The life at campus is enjoyable yet strict. There are different types of clubs present in which students can take part in and be a member of. Different activities like tech fest cultural fest and various seminars and webinars regarding both tech and non tech matters are held.

Admission

Application process is easy. You can either opt for direct admission providing the seat fee or go for counseling following the WBJEE AND/OR JEE EXAMS. The application form is available in the college admin if going for offline admission. Benifits of fee reduction is not applicable for students of any reservation quota but scholarships can be availed provided by the government. The admission process should have been more standard as to while choosing the students in accordance with their rank.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.
