- Teaching and syllabus is up to date and is beneficial compared to Mumbai University.
Dislikes
- The campus is bit small, it's basically every other college in Mumbai. The location of the college is a bit far from railway station thus you need more than one modes of transport everyday.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams dates are fixed according to the semester planner and no extension can take place at any cost. So even if the syllabus is incomplete it's upto the student to cover it on his/her own. The difficulty of the exams are moderate. Those who refer a specific textbook can avail maximum marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is economical given the demandings of other engineering colleges and there are lots of fee deduction according to your caste and financial background. Also there are different scholarship some are given by specific private companies and some by Maharashtra government.
Campus Life
Fests are bit lacking in this college but if you participate you'll have a great time. There are sports event for almost every sport in this world. The library has vast variety of books and whatever you want will definitely be available. There are clubs, both technical and non technical. You'll find a club for whichever thing that interests you.
Admission
VESIT is an autonomous college under Mumbai University so to apply here you have to appear for MHTCET. The cut-off varies yearly but it generally lies between 97-96. Admission occurs through CAP process and there are additional rounds known as ACAP which take place after the CAP process.
