Course Curriculum Overview

5

Now because the college has turned to an autonomous one the course curriculum is way way different from Mumbai University though one can find it veryy easy. Also there are re exams held and no direct KT will be give to a student so this is a very good decision. And the faculty members are very very supportive.

Internships Opportunities

3

Intership opportunities are good but the student needs to be specific with the skills he or she has in them and should be continuously keeping up with their skills. Everyone is eligible equally for the internship opportunities but has different skills on which basis they get their internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

3.5

Though campus placements completely depends on the pointer or CGPA you get throughout your semesters but it also depends on the skill one have achieved. There are number of companies visiting every year like TCS Accenture and many more. Though one can plan for masters as well as MBA after graduating for a better placement statistics

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is quite comparable to other universities in Mumbai though there are many benefits one can avail like EBC and EWS. Alsoo college provides various types of scholarship programmes based on merit and also caste and religion. Though Internship rate is quite low but one could try hard to get it.

Campus Life

5

This college is way better than any other colleges out there for fests and their events. Also for first year's there are many events to be held. Me being a first year student can relate to finding a good group and socialise myself with seniors and in this college events has helped a lot. Also almost all classrooms have air conditioning so no one finds it hard to sit in them hard.

Admission

The Admission process is very very smooth it also depends on the day and date u are taking admission. I gave CET and JEE both though got the admission through CET in VESIT through Sindhi Quota. For Sindhi minority benefits can be availed as per the rounds of admission.

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. The average Package is almost about 3 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.
