Course Curriculum Overview
The course I opted for is Information Technology because it focus more on the software part rather than the hardware part. Here the faculty to student ratio is decent as of tatal there are nearly 420 student in one year and nearly 25 teacher for the first year student and same goes for the second, third and forth year also. Most of the faculty have done P.hd holders.Term exam are held nearly 4 times in a sem and class test are also held regularly.
Internships Opportunities
College provide many internship opportunity to the student. Many companies like Microsoft, Google give internship to the student.Also the college is associated with the Google developers student club.
Placement Experience
From sixth semister student are eligible for the campus placement. Many company come in the college like Microsoft, Google , Deutsche bank. the average pakage for my course is nearly 16.4 lakhs per annum. The placement percentage is nearly 96% . the highest palcement in the recent year is 1.12 cr per annum.My plan after getting the degree is to persue the study and complete my MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees has the increment of nearly 10% every year.Cost of study of this college is good when taken in respect to other private college in the pune.Here you can avail many scholarship like PMSS for retired army personel and many more. For girl there are more opportunity for availing the scholarship. Financial Assistance is given to the J&K student.
Campus Life
there are many fest which are conducted from which there are Cultural Akriti which is held in Oct or Nov and Tech Akriti . There is a full fledged library consisting of many book and jouranal.There are Study material for the student of every year beside that there are many jouranal and book for reading. Every class consist of the smart board and there are windows in the room so there is a plenty of light.College provide many sports facility like football, basketball, vollyball,table tennis, badminton, cricket , lawn tennis, boxing, squash, chess.There are many club inthe college which are run by the student of the college infact all the event held in the college are organised by the clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities provided in the room are good as there three cabinet in which you can put your stuff, Table and Chair and a bed with the matress.Meal quality is really nice and there are variety of meal in the menu.As for registration process you dont have to do it seperately it is included with the admission process as hostel is compulasory for the first year student.
Admission
merit list is based on the jee mains score. for admission in the college you have to be a ward of an army personal. Application form can be found on its website (www.aitpune.com) .A special benifit is given in the merit list to the ward of army personal who have won the gallantry awards.
