I liked the faculties at the college and
I liked the canteen overall good hygiene
Also the Cooperation of the admin department

Dislikes

The campus size is too small compared to
Other colleges the fests are grand unlike here
Lack of space for sports is also which i dont like

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this because of its popularity There are 63 students in my division There are 12 division in total that means around 720 students Many faculty have a doctorate in their respective fields. There is 1 midterm nd 1 term for ever semester

Internships Opportunities

I am not sure about the stipend as it varies from company to company also with the designated roles it varied from 50k to 15k from companies like tcs ,amazon web services to companies like Microsoft etc

Placement Experience

Placements of the college are good But not that great this year due to the recession happening and a stop in recruitment this year Otherwise we do have a average package and maximum students get placed .

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of studying at vesit is comparatively low following other institutions in mumbai Also there are various private and government scholarships too which one can avail based on one's merit. Ebc, mahadbt etc are various scholarships offered.

Campus Life

Campus is quite small and the students are quite unhappy about it to be honest. Yea the clubs and all are good The students take great efforts in it and try to to as much as possible witj limited resources

Admission

The admission process was good It took nearly 2 hours or so for the entire offline process Mainly the process and cutoff were based on cet result and was displayed on cet website. The cutoff through cap round for cs stream at vesit was 98 percentile plus

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
