Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

So i opted for the engineering in electronics and telecommunication engineering which I got at a percentile of 91 and the course here in AIT is extremely good and faculty members are very cooperative and have ample amount of knowledge both in fields of practical and theoretical. Most of the faculties here have Doctorate degree in their respective fields and few have the Masters too and the student teacher ratio is also good for every group of 20 students a counselor is appointed who looks the problems boht academic and other problems of students and consults the parents

Placement Experience

5

The best part of AIT PUNE is its placement. They are extremely good, because of the less number of intakes every single student gets placed in companies like Google Microsoft Mastercard Barclays Amazon and many more. For the batch of 2022 passout the highest placement was of 1.12 Cr for Amazon Dublin and the average package here is around 15 lakhs per annum and every single student gets placed irrespective of the branch

Fees and Financial Aid

I would say the fees is bit High compared to other colleges but i would also like to mention that after graduating from AIT PUNE you won't have any regrets about the fees as the return of investment is extremely good here in AIT PUNE. Being a college operated under AWES the fees should have been less but due to less funding and no support from government the fees goes around 3 lakhs per annum including all the facilities like mess, barbar, hostel and tuition fees, uniform fees and bedding and all. But students are offered many scholarships based on the merit class wise and branch wise too so the students can take benefits of that too. Women are also given many scholarships and equal opportunities in AIT PUNE. TATA scholarship, Udchalo scholarship, Merit cum means scholarship are few of them.

Campus Life

3.5

Being a college of 100% armybrats, the environment here feels like the same as in Cantt and everyone here are so friendly and respecting in nature. In total currently we have 25 operating and in action clubs, which are operated under a faculty in charge and two secretaries from third year and joint secretaries from second years and first year members. The students of first year are taught how to behave in coperate or the civil areas and taught how to respect everyone be it the shop owner or the sweeper, everything is taught to them by their seniors.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Such good hostels at a cost of 1 lakhs a year including the mess is extremely affordable. Currently we have two messes one for the first year and fourth year and the other for third year and second year. We get 4 meals a day, one breakfast then lunch then around 1630 Hrs we get snacks and at evening the dinner. Compared to other hostels the food is good enough to eat everyday. There is no restriction on the amount of food. The rooms are spacious and given on the merit basis that is if you are in top 10 of your class you would get singlet and subsequently triplet and fourlet too. There's no separate process for the hostel and mess it all includes in the fees and during the admission and it is compulsory for first year students to avail hostels even if he/she is a resident of Pune.

Admission

To apply in AIT PUNE one must have given either of the two JEE MAINS and should be compulsorily a ward of army personnel. After giving the JEE, AIT PUNE rolls out the forms for admission in AIT which students need to fill and based on CRL (Common Rank List) a merit is prepared and released and then based on the merit and choice of branch filled final branch allotment list is out and then interested and selected students need to go through the online counseling and then the joining dates and informations are given to them and personally the process is very transparent and I don't want any changes in that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
