I liked the education system and schedule of the course.
I liked the bond between the students and faculty.
This institute refers a large range of sports and social activities.

Dislikes

I didn't liked about the hostels and hostel restrictions.
I didn't liked about the social life because there will be some ragging.
I didn't liked the environment because here it rains heavily and I easily attacked by cough and cold.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have a lot of interest in electronics and electrical circuits. Here the faculty is good highly qualified,1 faculty for 49 students. Most of the faculty are PhD and Mtech and they are teaching well. Term exam will be conducted for 4months It's not much difficult to pass the exams

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is dependent on Students family income per annum for students between 1lalh to 5lakh ruppes income, tution fee will be 41500 hostel fee not included. I have applied for the scholarship Foundation For Excellence.Still I was in semester 1 I didn't got any job.

Campus Life

Tathva is the tech fest which should be conducted in October but it delayed due to some reasons. It may be going to conduct in January 2024. And the anuual fest(freshers party) was conducted in November. So many use books and journals are available in Library we can take books for month time for free after that we should return it, and we can take that again. They conducted tournament for cricket and football, for other sports to select players selections was conducted for inter NIT sports. Levyug was one of the group run by students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities was not much good but it's ok. We are 4 in room but they built the lockers/cupboards for 3 only one need to adjust. Meal was good taste and good quality. I registered Room in hostel in NITC hostels app. It was in online process if we pay money in that app then they will provide you the room.

Hostel Fee: INR 3500 per year

Admission

MY ADMISSION PROCESS IS DONE THROUGH THE ENTRANCE EXAM JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (JEE). ELIGIBILITY FOR THIS COURSE IS 55% GRADE IN JEE EXAM. YOU CAN FIND MY EXAM APPLICATION FORMS AND APPLICATION FEES IN NTA WEBSITE,AND FEE I HAVE PAID IN JOSA AND CASAB WEBSITES

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
