The true heaven

Our college is a heaven for all the students those who study excel and those who have other interests like playing sports get excelled there and photography is even encouraged. Management is really good and functionality is proper always.

IIT JEE. I have cleared jee mains and have waited for result. I scored 140 in my jee but due to my poor ipe score 960 I secured 38000 AIR

The course here is not really upto the mark but it's good. As a Btech student this curriculum is enough and suffice all the needed for pursuing mtech. Though some professors are unworthy to stay here. Some are the reason for the best institution . it was really good to have them.

Yes it does provide stipend but only to the merit students. Unfortunately I'm not one of the merit list so I never had experienced that. My friends do have received some stipend

Placements are really good. There's more than 80% placements that take place. Companies like wipro IBM Infosys l and t capegemini future first and also iocl hal Microsoft etc come to the campus. Mostlyvthe average would be around 5-6lpa. Whereas highest would be 24lpa which is by Microsoft

Awesome life for the guys who enjoy fests. Many fests like nitr utsav, innovision, ism, multi ethnic etc are conducted by own student bodies. They just have some elections for the coordinator posts and secretary posts. Every student usually participate in most of the fests as they are enjoyable

Fee is a little expensive compared to rest of govt institutions as it is around 1.3lakh per year including the tution fee and also the hostel fee. But the facilities they provide are really good. For students from SC and St they get reimbursement and they have 1lakh back.

Yes loan facility is availed by me . as the fee is really high I prefer loan and they don't make it really tough to apply for it. They finance department is very transparent. I have my self seen the complete details of loan applied and they have really good administrators.

Campus life is very chill. As it is a very big institute and has mostly trees. The extracurricular activities are mostly seen as there is nss and physical education mandatory for first years. There are many clubs like spawn,Microsoft, rithvik,udaan which may help student to excel in academics whereas clubs like third eye and cinematics involve photography. Gender ratio is very much good as it will be 10:7 boys: girls.

Hostel facilities are really very good as they provide wifi unlimited and 24 hour power supply. Also the mess food is good upto an extent. As there is much diversity in the students some find it good and some get adjusted to it. The timings are really flexible.

Yes alumni is of a great help for us. People like venkata narasimhan peri has funded us 30 lakhs and is very much helpful for developing institute. Seniors are harsh in the first but due time they become friends and they are really helpful in academics.

Exams are really tough and they test the student knowledge. They just don't test the memory but also the analytical skills of the student. But the only problem I face is there are no preparation holidays in between and all exams are conducted in a row.

First I have completed my inter second year in Andhra Pradesh and I secured 96% in my exams. Then I have written many exams for entrances into Btech like vit bits amrita etc but then I have cleared my jee mains and got a good rank so in the last round counselling I have got into NIT ROURKELA finally

Faculty are well qualified here. Most of them are PhD scholars and they make students really bright. Though there are few proffesors who doesn't really care about students. Many are very concerned with the student performance and are helpful in studies.
