Likes

Good Hostel facility with good rooma and water supply and electricity
Sports complex is large and has gym, badminton court, basketball court, football ground, swimming pool
The campus is lush green and the weather here is amazing

Dislikes

Faculty are mostly old and do their work only as systematic
1st year classrooms are poorly equipped than other years
Mess food is not if tht good quality , the quality should have improved

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering as it is a evergreen branch and I'm also interested in electronics. The Faculty to student ratio is like 1:55 Faculty is qualified and strict especially in this branch. Term exams are moderate

Internships Opportunities

The highest package offered during NIT Agartala placements 2023 stood at INR 52 LPA. Further, the placement rate recorded during NIT Agartala BTech placements 2023 was 78.88%. Apart from this, a total of 725 students out of 842 students were placed during NIT Agartala placements 2023. The top recruiters during NIT Agartala placements in recent past included Amazon, Infosys and Capgemini.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are almost same like other NITs and the cost to study is also moderate as scholarships are provided. Scholarship options like NSP, Umbrella, Top Marks are also available M.Tech students can opt for assistant options.

Campus Life

Tech Fest like MOKSHA cultural nights like Dandiya nights during October November and Tripura Cultural program like Hojagiri, Hangrai and Bisu Ter are observed Library is large and there's multiple books and journals Classroom are moderately equipped. There's a big sports complex, which is the largest Complex in the country among NITs

Hostel Facilities

A hostel room of 1st year has double occupancy, 2 cots, 1 table, 1 chair , Wardrobe Every floor has a water cooler, a geyser, 4 bathrooms, 6 Toilets 4 urinals Meals are moderate Boys hostel is easy to get than the girls hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 46000 per year

Admission

Student should appear in JEE MAIN entrance exam, application is provided in NTA website and it costs around Rs 1200 and the application is usually released by November. Students belonging to SC/ST can avail low cutoff and reservation

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Campus placement is good for those who study ..ans from third year we are eligible..some of our senior also got PPO ..as cgpa also matters ..but not for every .. companies visited here is microsoft ,paypal ,uber, jp morgon and many more

Life in Nit Agartala

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
