Likes

I liked the Library of the institute as it has almost every book and journal and also posses the option of amazon kindle.
I liked the infrastructure of the institute. It is fully air-conditioned.
I liked the friendly nature of the faculty.

Dislikes

I didnt like the fees structure of the institute very much.
I didn't like the strict plagiarism policy of the institute.
The workload is bit more in comparison to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum and faculty members are decent. Faculty is well qualified from top universities of the world. Most of the faculty is PhD qualified. The faculty student ratio is very good. There is an average time of almost one and half months between midsemester exam and endsemester exam which is quite good.

Placement Experience

Typically, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th or 8th semester, as they approach the completion of their undergraduate or postgraduate programs. The names of companies visiting a campus and the number of offers made can vary each year. Companies often include a mix of tech giants, startups, and other industries.

Fees and Financial Aid

Though the fees structure is not very good of it. It's hard for a middle class student to afford fees. The fees hike policy is a negative point of this institute. Every year they hike the fees by 25k. There are various scholarships provided from the institute.Though its easy for the students to benifit the option of scholarships if he/she is eligible.

Campus Life

The life at campus is chill. Students are social. Also the infrastructure of the institute is good. There are alot of different clubs for the students to join for the side activity. Institute organize annual fest ODYSSEY in the month of January and a tech fest ESYA in the month of August. Both are one of the top fests in Delhi. Almost every book and journal is available in the library. There is an option for amazon kindle also.

Admission

I took drop after 12th in order for preparation. Admission was through JEE entrance exam which is CBT. One can find the application form on NTA site. Also there is relief in the application form for candidates with reservation. I got admission in CSB branch with 80 percentile.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

College that give life a purpose.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I applied to several top colleges including NSUT,DTU IIIT Hyderabad and few other colleges i got confirmend admission offers from NSUT(ECE) and iiitd cse and eventually chose iiitd beacuse of its strong academics focus on computer science excellent faculty and modern infrastructure the research culture and the curriculum at iiitd rellay stood out compared to the others. It's more aligned with current industry trends like AL amd ML I didn't get IIIT Hyderabad cse because of my jee main rank didn't ,make to the cutoff the competition is super intense there ,espically for cse and i fell short by a small margin but honestly i don't regret it IIITD offers a comparable level of educarion with a strong coding culture snd great placement records The admission process for IIITD straightforward but slightly different from other institutes .For Btech addmission are primarily through JEE mains via JAC for delhi based students they also take admission frommthe student that come from uceed and they alsi consider class 12 percentile as a part of eligiblity for a few program the cutoff of jee mains goes really high for cs branches and it even more tiugher for outside delhi student...Read More
