What Students Say

Likes

Wifi availability all around the campus. And inexpensive food are provided with best quality.
Infrastructure is very good , all the classes and library and every building are very good.
Hostel have AC avialibility and library have AC 24*7

Dislikes

Workload is too much here on first sem you have to make yourself calm.
Many things highly preferred to hostler like timing of events and all.
I personally found my campus is small although it's 35 acres.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the very good this college is more research oriented if you wanna excel in research you have lot of opportunities . The professor are very helpful and you can reach to them on their office hours. We have respected Teaching assistant also for our help in academics

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You have to make your cgpa upto 8 if you want to get a internship here and it's quite competitive here to get an intern in IIITD many companies visit here but I personally telling you keep your coding skill at decent level and keep your cgpa high minimum is 7.5 and above it will be graceful.

Placement Experience

Placement stats are too good here every one get placed in this college and with a decent packages and many multinational companies visit here to recruit the students and gives nice package like . To be very honest in recession the package differ this time in 2023 but in past years the packages are phenomenal here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is 2lakh per semester. And now ig it is 2.15 lakh , college also provide multiple scholarship to students for economic weaker students. There are three categories for scholarships 100% 50% 25% you will get your fee back by applying to it.

Campus Life

Great life and it teaches us how to maintain our time and there are lot of societies you can participate and multiple sports are also there. Like squash, swimming, football , Arcadia and many sports. In library you can issue any book like fictions and what ever you want , regarding the fest it is one of the most beautiful fest in Delhi colleges ODYSSEY , they manage to bring many multiple and hornored stars . And fest is always awesome in this college.

Admission

It was online and in era of covid pandemic the most of things is operated on online and some of work was offline and we have to visit the college and . After that we had to collect our induction kit in which they were distributing a small diary, mask, and logo and other merch

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I applied to several top colleges including NSUT,DTU IIIT Hyderabad and few other colleges i got confirmend admission offers from NSUT(ECE) and iiitd cse and eventually chose iiitd beacuse of its strong academics focus on computer science excellent faculty and modern infrastructure the research culture and the curriculum at iiitd rellay stood out compared to the others. It's more aligned with current industry trends like AL amd ML I didn't get IIIT Hyderabad cse because of my jee main rank didn't ,make to the cutoff the competition is super intense there ,espically for cse and i fell short by a small margin but honestly i don't regret it IIITD offers a comparable level of educarion with a strong coding culture snd great placement records The admission process for IIITD straightforward but slightly different from other institutes .For Btech addmission are primarily through JEE mains via JAC for delhi based students they also take admission frommthe student that come from uceed and they alsi consider class 12 percentile as a part of eligiblity for a few program the cutoff of jee mains goes really high for cs branches and it even more tiugher for outside delhi student...Read More
