Likes

The auditorium is the best thing at college.
Then comes the newly opened cafe in our college run by team Enactus.
Then comes the library. I like to stay in the library most of the time.

Dislikes

Firstly, I dislike how the Psychology department is understaffed.
The canteen is cheaf and affordable but it is very unhygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose to opt Psychology Hons as my course because I was very much invested in it in 11th and 12th standard. Bharati College is short on faculty. 2 of my professors resigned one after another. Psychology department is understaffed.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Considering private colleges and other institutes, the fees is very affordable as far as I am concerned. No campus jobs or scholarship assigned as of now since I am a fresher and I just started with the college.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is kind of dull. All the books recommended by our professors are available in the library. There are many extra curricular activities like football, NCC, etc which students like to take part in.

Admission

I got into Bharati College by CUET entrance exam by NTA. The eligibility for applying for Ba Psychology Hons course is you have to pass 12th standard. You don't necessarily have to study Psychology in 12th.

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Great college with good faculty and student crowd

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

It is one of the best college of Delhi university among 10 colleges of the university for my course that is Geography honours. All the faculty members are of good nature and experienced in their subjects

From Campus to Career in Bharati College

This is girls college and personally this college is very nearest to my home location in terms of girls college because i studied my whole schooling in coed , so decided to go in this and genuinely this college is very good for girls. Environment is also very good for girls . I had choosed this college because the college is quite low in fees and I have seen that some of the college charged 50k for a year so I cannot afford that much for one year and In my college it is around 5.5k for a year and it is increasing by 10% for the next year so it is apprx 6k for the next year so it is quite good for those who cannot afford 50k for a year that's why I select this college...Read More
